A FEW CURRENT POINTS * Henley Drive, after long campaign - completed. * Bus stop in Churchill Avenue to be moved a few yards away from the lay by, near the shops for safety reasons. * Bus shelter in Queens Road, which residents have approved the sitting of - currently Mersey Travel have no money in their budget this year but have agreed to install a shelter as soon as funds are available. * The Marshide Road footpath, which I have campaigned long and hard for is now completed. * In negotiations for some recognition of the historic Shrimping Industry in the Ward. * Hesketh Park Mansion frontage - been in negotiations with the Landlords/Agents for remedial work to be done, long overdue, and once everything is in order with the recent takeover, they have promised to come back to me. * Yellow lines, again for safety, have been put in at the corner of Rookery Road/Hesketh Drive. * If you have any Council problems, please ring Councillor Tom Glover OBE 01704 534969
